Peter Mead is one of the pastors of Trinity Chippenham, a new church in southern England. He is a mentor with Cor Deo, a mentored ministry training program. He teaches preaching for Union School of Theology, as well as leading the Bible Teachers and Preachers Networks at the European Leadership Forum. Peter graduated from Multnomah Biblical Seminary in 2004 with a Master of Divinity and Master of Arts in Biblical Studies. He joined Operation Mobilisation to work back in his native England, and then completed the Doctor of Ministry in preaching at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary under Haddon Robinson.
In 2014 Peter and a group of friends launched Trinity Chippenham, which continues to be the main focus of Peter’s ministry. Peter continues to offer Bible Teaching for Operation Mobilisation as well as at other conferences and churches. When he gets a spare moment he enjoys writing. His blog, BiblicalPreaching.net has been online for a decade. He has authored Pleased to Dwell: A Biblical Introduction to the Incarnation; Foundations: Four Big Questions We Should Be Asking But Typically Don’t; and Lost In Wonder: A Biblical Introduction to God’s Great Marriage (all with Christian Focus, 2014-2016). He also contributed to Ministry Essentials Study Bible in the area of preaching, as well as two volumes in the 10Publishing Undated Devotions series: Galatians and John’s Letters.
Peter and his wife, Melanie, have been married for 18 years and have six children. Their passion continues to be to equip others for ministry that shares God’s heart!
